Monitrice Services

If you're not sure if home birth is right for you, but you would like to safely labor at home as long as possible, I can monitor you and your baby at home until you are ready to transfer to the hospital, and then I will continue caring for you as a professional birth doula after that point.  Contact me for more details or if you have questions about this service.

Placenta Encapsulation

Consuming the placenta can:

  • Help to balance your hormones
  • Replenish depleted iron levels
  • Assist the uterus to return to its pre-pregnancy state
  • Reduce post-natal bleeding Increase milk production – this has been proven in a study
  • Make for a happier, more enjoyable post-natal period
  • Increase your energy levels - See more at: https://www.bellybelly.com.au/birth/placenta-encapsulation/

Birth Center Options

If you prefer not to have a home birth or if you are unable to deliver in your own home, for whatever reason, I can also offer the option of delivering at a local birth center, and still be your midwife.  Please let me know if you would rather use this option.  Facility fee varies by location.

Well-Woman Care

I can take care of your well-woman healthcare needs all throughout your childbearing years and beyond, not just when you're pregnant.  If you need a consultation before you get married, a Pap smear and physical exam, or more education before you go through menopause, and everything in between, schedule an appointment today.

An alternative to hiring a professional postpartum doula, I have daughters trained in babysitting and CPR who are available to assist with caring for older children and/or light household cleaning or other chores while you recover after your home birth.

Birth Pool Rental

Birth Pool Rental - $200, including $50 refund upon return (or only $75 when I am your midwife for your home birth)

Includes all necessary supplies for water birth.

Payment Options

  • Cash
  • Check
  • Deseret First Credit Union direct transfer
  • America First Credit Union direct transfer
  • Venmo
  • Apple Pay
  • Debit/Credit/PayPal (additional fee required)

Payment plans are always available.

I am also always willing to trade or barter part of my fees, so if you offer a product or service that my family can use, please don't hesitate to ask me about that option.  I'm pretty creative when it comes to trading, and I never want finances to be the deciding factor in whether or not you choose to have me as your midwife or the home birth you really desire.

Payment in full is expected by 36 weeks.

I am pleased to provide a professional biller who can submit everything related to your care to almost any insurance company.  Individual plans will vary, but home birth is often covered when provided by a certified professional midwife.
